100 Days at Monroe Elementary!!!

Wow! What an exciting 100 days of Kindergarten!

The children have learned so much and grown so much. They are really a wonderful group of children. I am blessed to have them in my life. They make me proud every day not only by their academic achievements but by their sincerity and compassion towards one another. Kudos to all of you!!

The children really enjoyed wearing their 100 Day tee-shirts today. We were so lucky that Codey's dad made them for the entire Kindergarten class. What a great keepsake!!

We did various 100 day activities today and we will carry them over into our stations this week.

The children will be finishing up their writing unit on Small Moments this week and they will end by sharing their writing with Mrs. Weisentaner's class on Friday.

Please continue to read with and to your child each night. Check their reading bags daily for any assignments from their reading teachers.

Also, work on proper letter and number formation at home. We have been doing this on paper, on our white boards and even on our ipad!

Please let me know if you would like to come in to be a Mystery Reader. Mystery Readers join our class on Fridays at 11AM.
